Our Story
it began with family & friends...and a tiki bar!
Yard Bars 2U began with a simple idea sparked by the purchase of a small Tiki hut for our family’s cottage on the South Shore of Massachusetts.
Over the last 16 years, this humble hut has become the centerpiece of countless cherished moments and memories for our family. Warm summer evenings have seen us gather with family, friends, and kids, enjoying the camaraderie and safety of our outdoor haven.
Even during cooler months, our Yard Bar has been a hub for football games and movie nights under the stars. We worked hard over the years to make it our own by adding personal touches such as electrical, TVs, surround sound and lights.
While we may not recall every date or occasion, the enduring joy of these gatherings remains etched in our minds. With Yard Bars 2U, we aim to share this joy with others, offering the opportunity for families and friends to create their own customized bars that will result in creating their own unforgettable memories for generations to come.
Our YB2U Team
As a small start-up rooted in the scenic charm of Cape Cod, we blend over two decades of expertise in corporate marketing, finance, sales, construction, design, engineering and building with the goal to offer something truly unique for our coastal communities. Starting out, we were determined to build a strong, amazing team of Cape locals who saw our vision. The Cape is also full of talent, and we were steadfast in assembling a remarkable team who shared our vision.
Our journey culminated in the birth of YB2U in April 2024, met with an overwhelmingly positive response from our customers, solidifying our belief that we were onto something special. Like so many, we treasure the bonds forged over shared moments and cold beverages, sparking countless cherished memories with our nearest and dearest. Building bars to our own yards felt like a seamless extension of this vision —a space where laughter, stories, and connections thrive.
